Finally got around to posting this!
Over the Spring Break, I went to Magic Island again, except this time I was with a bunch of other people having a BBQ. Unfortunately, the only girls that could go/went and stayed for the BBQ was Kelly and me, but we still had fun hanging with a bunch of guys.

Bridesmaids Unite Again!

Heyy~ How's every college students spring break? Mines is rocking. So much to do with so little time. Spring Break is halfway through!! &it's going by so fast too~

This morning I caught the bus out with Kelly to meet up with Jess at Ala Moana. We walked around and ate lunch at Genki Sushi. Then I went to David's Bridal with Janell and Vivian to try on more bridesmaid dresses! It was actually really fun trying on all those dresses; I tried on ~8 different dresses. Kind of felt like a kid playing dress-up. Luckily, we were allowed to take pictures and so we did. And just a note, we are in different colors in the pictures because we were trying on dresses for the style with the given sizes they have available for us, so it's gonna be colorful xD Just keep in mind that we're aiming for plum/dark purple.
After ~2 hours of trying on dresses, we got hungry and ate at Raamen Youngs (my 2nd time eating there) and they give very generous portions. Then we headed back down to Ward for the bridesmaid workshop at 6:30pm. I was so tired, I think I fell asleep for a while since we were in traffic. The 1 hour workshop was pretty helpful I guess. It was basically about what to do and what not to do as a bridesmaid. They also mentioned the different types of bridal shower parties and told real life stories of what happened during parties and the wedding; some were pretty funny.

 Janell & Vivian tried one different from mines. We wanted to see what the "varying dress" effect would look like. It was cute, but not what they were looking for.

Cute flirty dress! I thought we looked like Easter eggs because of the colors we tried on. 

I really liked this dress; it made me feel like a princess^^

 So..I seem to attract chickens and today.. it was pigeons.

I don't know why either, but they just sat there on opposite sides of me and isaac and stared at us.

And the countdown to Spring Break begins!
After today, I only have 2 more classes before the official break :]
Religion was boring as ever today and half the usual people didn't show up for class either. After class, I had lunch at Yogurstory for the very first time! I liked the decor and atmosphere in there.
Then walked around Don Quijote to pass time. Good day~

Almost Spring Break!

Sunday Outings! Had mochi ice-cream at Bubbies with Isaac and then watched 21 Jump Street at Ward Theaters with a few friends. The movie was super hilarious but pretty gross at some parts too. Before the movies, I went to Kaka'ako Waterfront Park; I haven't been there in a super long time. It was nice to re-visit the place (until it started raining) xD

Spring Break is just around the corner for us college kids! 

So excited~

I'd also like to say that I'm technically on Spring Break already because I don't have any more quizzes/tests and even homework assignments for the rest of this week! 

Since Spring Break is only a week, there's no time to waste because there's so much I want to do.
One thing I'm really looking forward to doing once the break starts is watching the Hunger Games movie! I just read the book (and finished it) a couple days ago, so everything is fresh in my mind.

Tantalus Lookout~

It marked the beginning of another weekend after classes ended today :)
I went to Tantalus lookout just as someone had promised to take me there. It's really peaceful and beautiful up there. I was happy that the place wasn't crowded or noisy. Unfortunately, it was super windy and even rained for a bit. Next time I go, I will be prepared with something warm to wear :)
I also saw a cat, a mongoose, lots of birds, and a family of chickens x]
They were so cute, just walking around together as a family. There was also this one rooster that seemed to stare at us, or even follow us around.

Study @ Sinclair Sunday

Study @ Sinclair Sunday!
So today I drove to UH campus because parents didn't have work today and were going into town for groceries. It was my first time driving 50+ mph on the freeway and I must say, it was pretty scary... It's just so different from driving at the regular 25-35mph on the streets. After getting to campus, I found out Sinclair Library didn't open until 12 noon >.< so I went to Coffee or Tea with Isaac for some milk tea, then back to Sinclair to study. Then we went to Banana Leaf Pasta for lunch!

Had my Chinese Written Midterm and it was easier than I thought it would be :) 

When I got home, mom was giving baby Aiden a bath and told me to snap a couple pictures, he's so adorable^^

Another chaotic week has passed. Two midterms yesterday: Chinese Oral & Macroeconomics, but I think I did pretty good! Anxious to get my macro midterm back ><

Followed by going to Aiea Bowl and Denny's. It was a tiring and yet another cold-rainy day, but it was fun :) 

On 03/09/12 while going home, I got one of these things as soon as I walked onto the 3 bus. This guy was standing there scanning these cards and handing them to people at the front of the bus, while there was another guy sitting next to the back door collecting them when people got off. They were people form The Bus Survey Team (something among those lines).

At night, Kelly told me that there's a stadium in LA called the Angel Stadium. Haha, so awesome~

Honey Toast, YUM!

If you haven't already noticed, I got my camera back ^____^
Today was a very special & eventful day. If you guys haven't heard, Da Kine for Less is closing down, so everything in the store is 50% off because everything must go! For those who have never been to this place before, it's a little mini shop next to Ice Palace that sells a lot of Asian imported goods and cute stuff such as scrapbooking stickers, nail art tools and stickers, stationary, hair accessories, and many other gifts. I actually spent around 40 mins shopping around this tiny store xD much longer than I expected...
And here's all the cute stuff I bought

 The price of all this stuff was a good deal :D

Got some erasers for my collection, nail polish, a portfolio, sticker, cards, hair clips/pins, star-folding paper,another cute floral print wallet, and a nice book bag.

Thanks for telling me about this Tracy, and coming to shop with me as well :]

After I went home for lunch, I went back out to the university to meet up with my partner for our Chinese oral midterm project. It's gonna be good, and funny =]

We finished around 6pm and then I went out to dinner with Isaac. I ate at Shokudo's for the very first time, and saved a big stomach for the honey toast!

Aiden's One Month Old Party

Kay guys, I know I haven't blogged in a while. Been kind of busy, and still am, but taking a break for now. Gonna try make this post short as well :)
After a rainy day of work, I got off early to get ready for Baby Nephew Aiden's One Month Old Party.
Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of him, primarily because there were so much people around him. He also pretty much slept through the whole dinner party.There were 18 tables (each seating ~10) that we reserved. Didn't know more than half these people that showed up, but that's okay. I made friends with the new people I was sitting next to :]
