Kill Boredom

*Ughh, blogger was down last night. 

I had stayed at home for 2 days straight and it was hella boring ><

So I finally went out of my house for some Vitamin D ~ sunlight.

Went over to Kelly's house to study for permit test and of course chatted about random things. Then Kris came home from p.e. and we chatted some more. In the afternoon, I played some tennis with Henry, Kevin, and Candace. Congrats to Candace winning 7-5 against Kevin. It's okay Kevin; it was a close game ~ still proud of you. When I came home, I looked in the mirror and my face was all red (thankfully it wasn't sunburn).

I bought both of these diaries from Hong Kong ~ very cheap. I hope to fill my (Creamy Bears) 5th diary with more happy and memorable moments than unhappy ones.

Some of you may think I'm weird for writing a blog and keeping a diary, and I think so too sometimes. In fact, I sometime get lazy writing in my diary since I can type blogs instead. But no, I must keep up with the diary: besides, it can hold the more personal side of my thoughts (that is unavailable on my blog).

Today, I had a dentist appointment @ 8 am. It felt like time went by pretty fast, that or it didn't take as long as I thought it would. Afterward, I went shopping around with my mommy. Haven't gone shopping with her in a while. And i bought more clothes >.<  I know, I have so much clothes now but I couldn't help it!!
Then ate dim sum with some relatives and friends of relatives. I didn't feel too hungry though, so I didn't eat that much. Drank lotsa tea though. Hope I can sleep tonight. And i got to sit next to my grammy! She's cute. We made an agreement: I'm taking her to get blonde highlights one day xD

Then it took forever to catch the bus home. 

My mom got the mail and my last mene mart paycheck came in. I forgot about it and didn't even think I was gonna get anything, but I got $50 ~ woot!

Adventure to Ice Palace

3 hours did not feel like 3 hours. I wish we could have stayed longer. I can skate fast now, compared to how slow I used to. It gets tiring after a while, but it feels so good to go fast. During the 15 min break, almost everyone got food ~ Kevin got me a churro (thanks Kevin ♥). When they opened up the rink again, the ice was so smooth and easy to skate on :]
Too bad Reynold had to leave early to go home and pack. I didn't even get to say goodbye. Anyways, we skated until closing time. And we were one of the last people to leave because we were busy trying to take a few pictures with the camera set on timer.
I had fun night with everyone: Sonia, Kelly, Kristine, Jess M, Kevin, Darian, Tyler, Marc, Christian, & Reynold.
And I would totally go again another time!

It only took ~3 days to ship. I'm impressed - love UPS shipping (but not the price :P )

I'm overall very satisfied with this order. Some things disappointed me while some things were beyond my expectations & some were just in between. In terms of sizing, everything fit, though couple of the skirts from the 2-piece sets were too long = might cut them shorter.

           

10/10 This 2 piece dress: dress & belt was my most favorite piece of the whole order. It's so cute & looks exactly like the picture ^^

9/10 This was a 3 piece set: blouse, skirt & belt. A great value too, but as you can see, the skirt I got is a bit longer than the one in the picture.

8/10 Very cute~ It reminds me of Jess Os dress (the one she wore to Sam's Grad Party). Kind of hard to see, but it actually came with the little brooch. Weird, but I think this piece makes me look fat. Maybe it's just me..       

10/10 & 10/10 These both turned out to be exactly the same as what it looked like in the picture. I like the material of these two pieces as well.

Left: This one piece dress is just as I imagined, but a little tight on the elastic waist.

Center: Knocked off a point for this one piece dress because I expected the top to be cotton. It's more like this shiny satin material, but i still like it.

Right: Another 3 piece set -blouse, belt & skirt. Skirt is too long (gonna cut it) & i thought it was chiffon, but no, it's cotton. AND the skirt's floral print is different from the one in the picture. I had high expectations for this one too. Oh wells, I got what I paid for.

Left: This one piece top turned out better than I thought it would :)

Center: Color is different from the picture. I got a light blue instead of the teal blue in the site's picture. I like either one; both colors are very nice. I didn't take a picture of the back, but it's really nice;all lace. Have to wear a tank underneath.

Right: Loose and long, just how it like it, except there's a brown stain on the front on the inside of the shirt, but it can be seen from the outside too. I didn't even notice it at first. I thought it was part of the design xD Would've been perfect if it weren't for the ink stain.

9/10 One piece overall - I love it when I have pockets. Also, the strap has 2 lengths that it can be adjusted to (i adjusted to the shorter length but if i were taller I could adjust it to the longer length).The shade of brown is different from the one in the picture, but other than that I give it thumbs up for cuteness. I was really worried that this piece would turn out as a disaster, but it didn't :]

10/10 This piece turned out a lot better than I thought it would too. The color I got is a lot lighter and creamier than the one from the site's picture. &The length is just perfect.

10/10 The pink from the site's picture appeared a lot lighter, but I like this pink too. I think the darker shade of pink matches my skin tone better than the light pink. Very good value and fits well. Can't wait to wear it to our next pool party :]

10/10 Look familiar? I got the deep gray one in my last order and I've been wearing it a lot. It looks like a skirt, but it's actually pants (a pantskirt). I liked it sooo much, that I had to get another one, in another color, so i chose apricot. In actuality, it's more creamy than in the picture above.

      

Left: 9/10 3 pieces: cardigan, sheer tank, & under tank. I got this for my mom. I think she prefers not to wear the sheer tank. 

Right: 9/10 These pants are very comfortable & made of the same material as the other skirt that I got twice. 

3/10 Then there's this one piece of $6 (shipping included) that totally failed. I had really high expectations for this one and looked forward to it too! It's so disappointing, that I don't even wanna bother taking a picture of it. I'm not even sure if it's fixable, but one of the bows (the white one on the top left corner) is missing. I don't see it anywhere, so I don't think it came in the package either. The yellow bow in the top right is not sewn properly, nor is it sewn ON properly, so it's like crooked. The smallest problem is that the ink from the bows imprinted on the shirt is smeared a bit (pretty noticeable though, since the shirt is white). This is the risk I take for buying white colored pieces. I should have gotten the black one. Maybe it wouldn't have been as fail. I also had 2 out of stock items that totaled to less than $3.50, which they credited back to my account.

Well, I didn't loose much, since Wholesale gave me $15 off my whole order. Thumbs up for that :)

Karaoke Night

Had a fun night of singing Karaoke at the Krazy Karaoke in Aiea. Well, technically it was only 3 hours, but the time passed by so fast ~ 

We got a large room to fit: Marc, Tyler, Christian, Kevin, Reynold, Mikey, Darian, Henry, Songhwa, Jess M, Jess O, Kelly, Kristine and me :]

Father's Day

Treated daddy to dinner at Yee Hong Pavilion down in China Town Cultural Plaza. We ordered enough food for 4 people, but finished almost everything ^^b
Here's what I got my daddy:

I burned a CD for him filled with 19 english songs (B'cuz it was the 19th of June)

Luckily, I didn't have work, otherwise I don't think I would've been able to go. My mom offered my dad to take me there, so I don't he could've said no. But thanks to dad, I picked up Jess O, Kelly, and Jess M. on the way to Newtown Recreation Center in Aiea. There was tons of popcorn favors when we walked in x]. Jess O. and I tried Pupu platters for the first time and they were yummy; all of the food was. Sam's grad cake also had a bunch of sea animal rings, so we each got one. Jess O. got down on one knee and proposed to me ~ and I said yes. People around us didn't look like they cared, but i though it was hilarious.
I called my dad to pick us up when the party was over [it ended early]. Then we all got dropped off at Kelly's place to hang out and did this psychological test thingy ~ it was funny.

I spent my morning sorting through my old stuff because I wanted to store away my awards certificates and stuff for keepsake. I came across my letters/cards/invites and started looking through and reading them. Yes, I collect all of them, no matter how small they may be (well, the ones from my family, friends and teachers). They're all very memorable to me. I even have ones that date back to Kindergarten :3

As if one day of Pearlridge weren't enough xD
I told my mom "I'm at Pearlridge again"
Mom: Is there free gold at Pearlridge that you had to go again today?
Me: hahaha...no
I rode the bus with to Pearlridge with Kelly, Jess M, and Darian. We walked over to Krazy Karaoke so Jess M could make the deposit for our reservations made for Monday. I can't wait!
I really wanted to get a grad gift for Sam, so I went searching with Kelly & Jess M.
After looking for a pretty long time, we were all super hungry, so we met up with the guys to eat at Anna Millers. Christian and Kevin went on a little dinner date to Bravo's instead. Losers.
